Pyrex Simply Store 6-Cup Rectangular Container with Blue Lid 6017396

The glass is dishwasher-safe; the plastic lid is specified for the top rack. Buying a set does not mean every component belongs beside a lower heating element. Glass is heavier than plastic and needs separation from neighbouring items to avoid knocks. Check that the offer includes a lid rather than only the dish.

Why consider it

Plan for two different rack positions

This purchase combines a glass dish with a plastic lid. The glass is dishwasher-safe, while the lid is specified for the top rack. Treat those as separate loading decisions rather than assuming a dishwasher-safe set has one rule for every part. Make sure the lid can be supported where it will not interfere with the spray path.

Compare usable storage, not just a set photograph

A 6-cup rectangular container can be useful for leftovers, but check its physical fit in the fridge and dishwasher against your routine. Glass is heavier than plastic, and leaving separation between items matters when handling or loading it. Inspect the glass for damage rather than treating dishwasher-safe wording as a guarantee against breakage.

Match item 6017396 and verify that the blue plastic lid is included. A replacement dish, a lid-only offer and a larger multi-piece set are different purchases. Compare like-for-like contents before judging the price.
