Three different approaches
Bosch SHP65CM5N uses AutoAir, which opens the door at the end of the drying stage. Bosch SHP78CM5N uses CrystalDry. LG LDPH7972S lists Dynamic Heat Dry. These features represent distinct systems; the 500 Series model should not be described as having the 800 Series model’s CrystalDry equipment.
For buyers happy with an automatically opened door, the Bosch 500 approach is worth comparing. For a plastic-heavy load, examine the Bosch 800 and LG drying options along with their cycle restrictions. These are specification-led shortlists, not a claim that we measured identical drying results across them.
Judge your difficult items
A flat ceramic plate and a plastic food-container lid are not equivalent drying challenges. Recessed bases, deep rims and nested pieces can retain puddles even after the surrounding surfaces are dry. Bring a few representative items to a showroom and examine the rack angles.
Consider when you unload. A machine that suits an overnight cycle may not suit a household that wants clean, dry dishes immediately after dinner. Confirm whether extra drying increases the program time.
Improve the whole routine
Use rinse aid if the manual calls for it and select the intended drying option. Angle items so water can leave the surface, separate lids and avoid trapping a bowl beneath another piece. Unload the lower rack first to reduce drips from above.
Do not buy on a headline drying percentage without reading the comparison and conditions. Manufacturer claims may use a particular cycle or an extended standing period. A useful recommendation connects that feature with how you plan to run and unload the machine.
